Can AI assistants find your site?
Online stores can publish a small file that tells AI assistants what they can do there, like search products or check out. It follows an open standard called the Universal Commerce Protocol, and Shopify publishes one for every store. We check that yours is there and what it offers.

Does your site answer when they connect?
Assistants talk to your site through a direct line, which Shopify sets up for every store. We check that it is open and responding.

Can they answer your shoppers' questions?
We ask 5 or 6 questions real shoppers ask in your kind of store, like when an order will arrive or whether it can be returned. An assistant can only repeat what your site tells it, so a blank here means a shopper gets no answer. This counts for almost half your score.

Can they read your store policies?
Shipping, returns, contact details and terms. We check that each one is there with real text in it.

Do your products make sense to them?
We look at 12 of your products the way an assistant sees them and flag any that are missing a price, a photo or a description. This part is shown on its own and does not change your score.

Ready. Assistants can find you, check out, and answer most shopper questions.
Gaps. Assistants can reach you but come up empty on some questions, so they may send the shopper to a store that answers.
Hard to use. Assistants get little back, which makes your site easy to skip.
Safe to run on any site. We only read what your site already shows the public, the same as any visitor. We never add anything to a cart or place an order, and nothing on your site changes.
