Terms of Service
What you agree to when you buy a workshop seat, hire us, or use the free tools here. Written to be read, and to say what we will and will not do.

Who these terms are between
They are between you and Spend Less Grow More, a marketing agency in Holden, Massachusetts. Using this site, submitting a form, or buying anything from us means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to do that.
Reach us any time at jamie@spendlessgrowmore.com or (508) 365-9963.
The free tools and audits
The AEO score checker, the free audits, and anything else we give away cost nothing and come with no warranty. They score the public pages of a website address you give us. We never sign in anywhere and we never change anything on your site.
How an audit is produced. Our software generates the findings, and a person here reviews them before anything reaches you. It measures what your site publishes: whether AI crawlers can reach it, whether your details are structured so a machine can read them, how clearly your pages answer real questions, and how well defined your business is as an entity. It does not ask ChatGPT or any other engine about you, and it does not report what those engines currently say.
Use the findings however you like, including with another agency or on your own. We keep no claim over work you do as a result.
Workshops
Seats are paid in advance through Stripe. A seat covers one live session at the advertised date and time, plus any materials we say are included.
If you cannot attend, tell us before the session starts and we will refund you in full or move you to a later date, whichever you prefer. After the session has run we cannot refund a seat, because the thing you bought has happened. If we cancel or reschedule, you choose between a full refund and the new date.
The next AEO Workshop date has not been announced yet. Recording, re-broadcasting, or reselling a session is not permitted.
Project work
Fixed-scope work, such as building a system in your accounts, is quoted in writing before it starts and the written quote governs. A sprint is a one-time engagement. Nothing renews, and you keep every deliverable.
What we need from you. Most work needs access to a site, a CMS, or an analytics account, and answers to a few questions. If those do not arrive, timelines move. We will tell you when that happens rather than letting a date slip quietly.
What you get to keep. Everything we produce for you is yours once it is paid for: the schema, the copy, the reports, the recommendations. We keep ownership of our own methods, templates, and scoring tools, which are not part of what you are buying.
Ongoing work and subscriptions
Retainers and subscriptions are quoted per engagement, and the written agreement governs term, price, and notice. Where a minimum term applies, we say so in that agreement before you commit, not afterwards.
Cancelling. Where a service is described as cancel-anytime, that is what it means. You can stop at the end of a billing period without a penalty or an exit fee.
What survives cancelling. Anything already installed or published on your own site stays there and stays yours. Structured data we wrote into your pages does not get removed, revoked, or switched off when you stop paying. What ends is continued work, not what you already earned.
Payment
Card payments run through Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s own terms. We never see or store your card details. Invoiced work is due on the date stated on the invoice. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply to you.
If an invoice goes unpaid we will chase it directly rather than pausing your work without warning. Persistent non-payment lets us stop work and, where it applies, end the agreement.
What we do not promise
This is the section worth reading twice, because our whole field attracts overclaiming.
We cannot promise a ranking, a citation, or a result. Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and every other engine decide independently what to rank and what to cite. They change how they do it without notice and without consulting anyone. What we can promise is that we do the work we described, to the standard we described, and report honestly on what happened, including when the answer is that nothing moved yet.
Anyone guaranteeing you a specific ranking is guessing or lying. We would rather say that plainly than compete with it.
Beyond our explicit commitments, this site and our services are provided as they are, with no other warranties. Our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us and for having the right to give us access to whatever you give us access to. Do not send us anything belonging to someone else without their permission, and do not ask us to publish something untrue.
If you are in a regulated profession, the professional and advertising rules that bind you also bind what we publish for you. Tell us about them and we will work inside them. If you handle client or patient information, keep it out of anything you send us. We do not want it, we do not ask for it, and we have no use for it.
Our work and your brand
Unless you ask us not to, we may describe work we did for you and show anonymised results as part of explaining what we do. We will not publish anything you told us was confidential, and if you would rather we never name you, say so and we will not.
Ending an engagement
Either of us can end an engagement with reasonable notice, as set out in the written agreement for that work. If we end it, you pay for the work done to that point and we hand over everything completed. If the relationship is not working, we would rather say so early than keep invoicing.
Legal odds and ends
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts sitting there. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest still stands.
For a specific engagement, a signed agreement or written proposal takes precedence over this page wherever the two differ.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes do not apply retroactively to work already agreed.
